Popular comic/Yoruba actor, Alhaji King Babatunde Ayinla
Nurudeen Olasunkanmi Omidina, also known as Baba Suwe was last night apprehended
at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos as he was about to board
a flight heading for Paris, France.
It was gathered that he was nabbed after the scanning
machine alerted officials who found suspected substances i.e drugs in his
stomach. He is currently under observation at the airport office of the Nigerian
Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA pending when he starts excreting the
swallowed substances.
More so, it was gathered that he was on his way to France to
host the naming ceremony of a staff working with Air France who also has been
picked up by the Force.
Until his arrest, Baba Suwe remains a well-known brand in
the Nigerian Entertainment Industry, but with a
story like this, one can't help but wonder what will be left of his career afterwards.
